Michael Ainsworth

I am a partner in Hempsons' corporate-commercial department, with significant experience in commercial transactions across various sectors. I have particular expertise in healthcare IT contracts, having previously worked as an in-house solicitor for global IT suppliers Computer Sciences Corporation and iSOFT plc. My areas of focus include commercial and contract law, as well as IT contracting, where I work closely with NHS bodies, NHS England, and private companies.

I hold an LLB (Hons) in Law and completed my Law Society final examinations in 1992. I am a member of The Law Society and The Society for Computers and Law.

Outside of work, I enjoy tennis, running, and watching my daughter play football. I’m also proud to serve as a trustee for Health Equalities Group, supporting their mission to address health inequalities.
