Project Coordinator

I am the Project Coordinator for the Schools Pledge programme, working on the development and rollout of our new programme for primary schools across Cheshire and Merseyside. I support local authorities and schools to promote a healthy, active future for children, ensuring they have the best start in life.

I am a recently graduated Registered Associate Nutritionist with a strong focus on children’s health. As a parent of four, I’ve developed a first-hand appreciation for the critical role nutrition plays in child development. Professionally, I have delivered nutrition workshops within school and voluntary settings, including work with HENRY and Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) providers. I’ve also run a six-week nutrition programme for Year 6 students and worked as a freelance diabetes remission coach for the NHS T2DM Pathway to Remission programme. Additionally, I have managed accounts and projects within a family business while completing my degree.

I hold a First-Class BSc in Human Nutrition, am registered with the Association for Nutrition (ANutr), and am a member of the Nutrition Society.

I am passionate about health prevention and the difference a healthy diet and active lifestyle can make for all ages. Creating supportive environments for health and well-being, especially for future generations, is something I feel deeply committed to. HEG embodies the principles needed to drive this change, and I am excited to be part of such an impactful organisation.

In my free time, I love spending time cooking with family and friends, strength training at the gym, taking my dog on long walks, and getting lost in a good book.
