I am a marketing director and a first generation IT consultant with over 40 years of experience, giving me a unique perspective in how both the public and private sectors work and have evolved over time. My professional journey has involved running multiple companies simultaneously, which has taught me the importance of directness and efficiency in business. I’m known for being outspoken and straightforward, always prioritising honesty and clarity.

My commitment to public health is deeply personal. As someone who has experienced my own personal weight challenges , I am passionate about health-related issues and understand how hard it can be to change behaviour. My journey, combined with the professional expertise of the Health Equalities Group team, motivates me to contribute to the cause.

Outside of my professional life, I’m a Canon-accredited photographer and filmmaker who loves capturing moments while traveling on my motorbike. I’m an adventurer at heart, always pushing myself beyond my limits. My values are rooted in empathy and integrity; qualities that define both my personal and professional life. While I’m not a "yes man," you can always count on me to speak the truth and stand by my commitments.
